Corporate events. Nonprofit events. Houston.

Holiday gatherings,
handled.

Melius Events plans and runs nonprofit fundraisers, business holiday parties, grand openings, and investor evenings in Houston. One conversation, one plan, one team on the night.

A note from us

The occasion matters.
So do the people
you bring together.

Hi, we're Ntsumi and Carmen. Behind every gathering is a reason: a team that earned a thank-you, a client you want to treat well, a cause close to your heart, or something you've worked hard to build. We started Melius Events so you can enjoy that moment instead of managing it. We'll listen first, plan the details with you, and be there on the night, so you'll always know who to call and who's looking after things.

A reason to reconnect

An evening with your people.

A fall gathering is a good moment to reconnect before the year-end rush.

Some ideas for your occasion

Every gathering
starts somewhere.

We're building our first chapter. Here are four ideas we'd love to bring to life with you: concepts, rather than events we've already produced.

Sample run of show +

60 guests · private dining room · 6:30–10:30 pm

  1. Florals, place cards, AV check
  2. Staff and bar brief
  3. Arrivals, cocktails
  4. Seated dinner, three courses
  5. Remarks from the host
  6. Dessert, open bar, music
  7. Close, car service

Every concept can be produced for your guest list. Ask us to walk you through any of them on the first call. These are illustrative concepts, not completed Melius events.

How we work

A good plan makes
room for a good time.

You don't need to arrive with a finished brief. A date, a rough headcount, and a reason to celebrate are a good place to start.

First, a conversation

Tell us about your people.

What's the occasion? Who's coming? What would make it a good evening for you?

Then, a plan

Get the details right.

We plan the venue, food, drinks, music, and the way the room should feel.

With your approval

Know where you stand.

You approve a line-item budget before we book anything. We manage the vendors and keep you in the loop.

On the day

Leave the running to us.

We're both there, working from a detailed run of show, from setup to the last guest.

The people behind Melius

Two founders.
One familiar team.

You'll work directly with the people planning your event. Both of us will be there on the day, too.

Ntsumi Cossa

Budget, vendors & logistics

Books the vendors, holds the budget, and keeps the night on schedule.

Carmen Das

Design & client experience

Shapes how your event looks and feels, and is your day-to-day contact.

The practical things

Before you reach out.

How can we work together?+

Tell us about your occasion using the form below. We'll set up a short call, then send a plan and a quote.

How do we reserve a date?+

Once you approve the plan and quote, we'll confirm your date in writing.

Can you support a nonprofit event?+

Yes. Nonprofits receive 20% off, and we plan around your budget and mission.

What if we've already made plans?+

No problem. We can step in for day-of coordination only, or take over from wherever you are.

Let's start with a conversation

What are you
getting together for?

A little detail is plenty to start. Tell us about your occasion and we'll get back to you within one business day.
